transfer degrees at danville community college

Since much of the coursework taken during the first two years of a bachelor’s degree is in the area of general education, DCC offers transferable courses to meet the first two years’ requirements for a variety of four-year degree programs. DCC also has seven degree programs that specifically are designed to transfer to four-year institutions.

Associate of Arts and Science

· Business Administration

· Liberal Arts

· Liberal Arts-Educational Interpreting Specialization

· Liberal Arts-Humanities Specialization

· Liberal Arts-Social Sciences Specialization

· Science

Associate of Science

· Engineering

Students earning Applied Science degrees are eligible to transfer, but should be aware that in most cases they still will have to fulfill general education requirements at the four-year institution. Students also may transfer prior to earning their degree, but should know that they will not be eligible to enroll under any of the guaranteed admission agreements. Further, if students have fewer than 24-30 transferable credits, they likely will have to provide their high school transcripts and SAT/ACT scores.
