Inappropriate use of the Internet in the Library is prohibited.  Students may access the library’s electronic resources off-campus by clicking the e-Library.

The Internet

The library provides access to the Internet. Additional Internet terminals are available in the LAC. Patrons must be sixteen (16) years of age or older to search on the Internet or to use the computers in the LRC. The Internet is to be used solely for research purposes in the Library. The use of Library computers for e-mail, word processing, chat lines and chat rooms, games, or to access adult sites is prohibited. Patrons who are not DCC students--"community patrons"--must sign in at the Circulation Desk in the Library. Community patrons may search 30 minutes per day on the Internet and may print a maximum of 15 pages per day. Community patrons should use the 2 terminals which are designated for "DCC Student and Community Internet Access."
