  • Healthfinder - Includes information on a variety of  hot topics, such as Aids, Cancer, and Medicare.  Also provides online journals and medical dictionaries.

  • Medline - Provides more than 12 million references to articles published in 3900 biomedical journals.

  • Cancernet - From the National Cancer Institute.  Provides up-to-date information on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.  Provides links to NCI's Cancer Information Service, including toll-free telephone numbers, nation-wide cancer centers, clinical trials, and the CancerLit database. 

  • HIV/AIDS Resources - Available from The National Library of Medicine.  Provides access to a variety of Aids databases, including AIDSLINE, AIDSTRIALS, AIDSDRUGS, and DIRLINE.   Also provides links to HIV/AIDS-related Internet resources outside the NLM.

  • National Institute of Mental Health - Offers numerous publications dealing with various types of mental illness, including depression, panic disorder, eating disorders, and suicide.

  • National Institutes of Health - Provides a wide range of information about health.  Includes resources such as CancerNet, AIDS information, Clinical Alerts, the Women's Health Initiative, and the NIH Information Index (a subject-word guide to diseases and conditions under investigation at NIH).  Provides searchable versions of a number of molecular biology databases.
