| Question: How can I print
a PowerPoint presentation from Blackboard without using up so much paper?
Answer: This
can be done by printing multiple slides on one page. Here are the
instructions for PowerPoint 2000:
- Select File from
the Menu Bar at the top of the window. From the File
drop down menu, select Print:

-
From the new Print window that opens, look in
the bottom area where it says Print What:

-
In the Print What field you will see the word
"Slides." Click the downward pointing arrow
next to the word Slides.

-
A drop down menu will appear. From it, select
the Handouts option:

-
Next to the
Print What field, you will see a box
labeled "Handouts." In the Slides per Page field you
will see the number 6. By clicking the down arrow next to the 6,
you can select the number of slides to print to a page. 6 is
usually a good setting.

-
Click the OK
button in the lower right of your Print window, and your slides
will print, six of them to a page.

NOTE: The
procedure for printing multiple slides to a page in PowerPoint XP or 2002
is exactly the same.
