About the Center

The Teaching, Learning and Technology (TLT) Center is located on the lower level of the Whittington W. Clement Learning Resources Center.  The purpose of the TLT Center is to promote and support the integration of information and instructional technology into educational educational programs and practices at Danville Community College.

The center provides a quiet place where faculty may create teaching materials for their classes using state-of-the art equipment.  TLT personnel will be available on a regular schedule and by appointment for instruction in the use of this equipment.

Technology training and support will also be supported by the TLT Center for individuals as well as small and large groups.

These services are available for all full- and part-time faculty and staff.

TLT equipment and software available for use in the center include:

Two PC computers

Laser Printer

Color Printer

Color Scanner

Digital Camera

Graphics Editing Software

Microsoft Office

Microsoft FrontPage

Other equipment such as multimedia projectors, digital camera, and laptop computers are available for checkout through the Library.

The TLTC was preceded by the Teaching, Learning, Technology Roundtable (TLTR).
