The DCC Bookstore exists for the sole benefit of the students, faculty and staff at Danville Community College.  Being institutionally owned, profits from its operation directly benefit the campus.  Proceeds from the DCC Bookstore are used in the maintenance of the Tennis Court and the campus parking lots.  The bookstore sponsors such items as the "Student Spotlight," which recognizes students who are doing exceptionally well in school.  The Spotlight can be viewed  each month in the Danville Register & Bee every second Sunday.  The bookstore also sponsors the " Excellence in Academics" scholarship each year.

Since 1967, the bookstore has provided books, supplies and services for the campus.  The bookstore is continually changing in order to stay up to date on current technology.   A feature that the bookstore offers is e-mbs, a service that allows students and others to purchase required textbooks.  Educationally discounted computer products such as software, hardware and peripheral items are available too.
