STUDENTS RECCOGNIZED

AT AWARDS CEREMONY

 

            DANVILLE, VA, May 2, 2002—Eighty-eight Danville Community College students were recognized recently at the Fifth Annual Awards Recognition and Reception.  The students were recognized for their leadership and community service skills, and their work with clubs and other campus organizations.  Major General (Ret) Carroll Thackston, Former Adjutant General, Virginia National Guard, was the guest speaker.  Awards were presented by Dr. Carlyle Ramsey, DCC President; Dr. Betty Jo Foster, Dean of Instruction and Student Development; and Wayne Martin, Assistant Professor, Business Management.
