Mark Wolf McSherry is enrolled in the Practical Nursing certificate program. He is a graduate of George Washington High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from The College of William and Mary. Even though he has a baccalaureate degree, McSherry chose DCC to pursue his dream of entering the nursing profession. He plans a career as a registered nurse. McSherry is an intern with the Womack Natural History Collection at the Danville Science Center. Formerly, he worked as a volunteer instructor and disaster services worker for the American Red Cross. “DCC offered me an opportunity to start my nursing career quickly and affordably,” he said. “The best thing about DCC is that it offers a convenient, well-designed campus with easy access, and provides a variety of certificate and degree programs to meet the needs of persons from all walks of life.” For more information,
