KEITH LOGAN

Keith Logan of Java is enrolled in the Business Administration/College Transfer program. Logan graduated as valedictorian of Chatham High School’s Class of 2005 and as a result was awarded the DCC Board’s Academic Excellence Scholarship. He is the son of Peggy and Jeff Logan Sr.

Since he took dual enrollment classes in high school, he will graduate in May 2006, after only one year of study at DCC, and transfer to a four-year college or university with junior class status. He is very active at DCC, holding membership in Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year college students, and the Afro-American Culture Club. In his community, he is active with the choir at New Jerusalem Pentecostal Faith Church.

“I chose DCC because of the dual enrollment program which will allow me to graduate earlier,” Logan said. “I would encourage others to attend because DCC has a good academic environment. The best thing about DCC is that the staff treats you like an individual not a number.”
