Derek D. Crutchfield

Derek D. Crutchfield, the son of Faustine Crutchfield and a resident of South Boston, is in his first semester at Danville Community College. He is enrolled in the Graphic Imaging Technology program and expects to graduate in the spring of 2006. His goal is to become a graphic designer for a major company.

After experiencing a job layoff in the furniture industry, Crutchfield says he decided to attend DCC for retraining.

“So far I am pleased with my choice,” he says. “The staff and other students are very helpful and friendly. My teachers all seem as if they want the best for not only me, but every student attending DCC.”
