Eric L. Carter

Eric L. Carter, a native of Axton, is enrolled in the Information Systems Technology program with a specialization in Computer Programming. He will complete his studies this summer and receive an Associate in Applied Science Degree. A graduate of Tunstall High School, he is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Owney Carter. He plans to transfer this fall to a four-year institution and obtain a bachelor’s degree in the computer field.

Carter is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year college students, and recently served as the Scholarship Chair. He also is a member of the Collegiate Entrepreneurship Organization (CEO).

He says he chose DCC because the college offered “a better quality of education” in my field. “Computer science has always been one of my fascinations in life,” he adds.

Carter also constantly directs other students and adults to DCC. “I enjoyed attending DCC,” he says. “The faculty have made my experience here pleasant and worthwhile.”
