Stephanie D. Hicks is
enrolled in the Administrative Support Technology
Program-Legal Specialization. She will receive her Associate
in Applied Science Degree this spring and then pursue a career as a
paralegal. A 1989 graduate of
Starkville High School, she is the wife of Bob Hicks and the
mother of two daughters, Madeline and Katherine Hicks. They reside
in Java. “I chose DCC because it was compatible with my lifestyle,”
Hicks says. “As a working mom with two children, I really needed a
school that would have some flexibility, and DCC was able to fit my needs
perfectly. At DCC, she is a member of International Association of
Administrative Professionals and Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor
society. In addition to attending school, Hicks works as a legal secretary
at the law firm of John H. Heard P.C. Hicks says she highly recommends others to attend DCC because the college “works very hard to meet the needs of every individual.
