Carol
Bouldin-Pruitt is in her final academic year in the Business Management
program, expecting to
graduate in May 2004 with an Associate in Applied Science Degree.
She serves as president of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs
Organization Club, and plans to start her own Beauty Supply Store after
graduation. Bouldin-Pruitt is
the daughter of Floyd W. Bouldin, Sr. and Carolyn Lovelace; the mother of
Danielle and Justin Bouldin; and the wife of Mervin Pruitt.
She is also a graduate from Laurel Park High School.
Bouldin-Pruitt says she chose DCC because of the small class sizes,
low cost, and flexible hours for her classes. She also reminds others that
age need not be a factor in education.
“The experience is priceless,” says Bouldin-Pruitt.
“Teachers go out of their way to encourage you when you need it.
