David Allen Willette

David Allen Willette, the son of Al and Kay Willette, is a graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School. He is enrolled in the Information Systems Technology Networking-Track III program, and will graduate next spring. His goal is to start a full-service network-consulting firm in Danville.

Willette is a peer tutor and a member of Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society for two-year college students. He also is on the President’s Honors List. Willette is a veteran, having served our country in the United States Army.

Willette says that he chose DCC because of his interest in computers.

“DCC offered a program that was well-tailored to my interests,” he says. “After I left the military, I had a desire to further myself through education. Danville Community College and the G.I. Bill made it possible.”

Willette says he would certainly encourage others to attend DCC.

“I recommend DCC to anyone with a desire to get more from life by furthering their education. The doors that can be opened are endless.”
