DCC TO OFFER REAL ESTATE

BROKERAGE CLASS

DANVILLE, VA, Feb. 18, 2005 – Individuals involved in the real estate industry have a new opportunity to increase their skills in a credit course offering at Danville Community College. Entitled Real Estate Brokerage (REA 215), the three-credit class will meet Monday and Wednesday nights, 6:00-8:45 p.m., March 7 – May 9, in EIT Building, Room 42. Calvin Stephens of Stephens Real Estate will be the instructor. Stevens has been a real estate broker in the Danville area for several years.

The course will include the examination of administrative principles and practices of real estate brokerage, financial control and marketing of real property. The deadline for registration is Feb. 28. Course prerequisites include the Principles of Real Estate (REA 100) class or departmental approval.
