DANVILLE, Va., August 11, 2003 –
Twenty-one Danville Community College practical nursing students were
awarded their nursing pins in a ceremony held recently. In
addition to the pinning service, special recognition awards were
presented. Dana Whitlow of
Dry Fork, was recognized for Academic Excellence; Bertha Mease
of Danville, was named All Around Improved Student; and Arnitha
Price of Chatham, was named Outstanding Clinical Performance; and Liza
Zavala of Dry Fork, was named Outstanding All-Around
Student in the DCC Practical Nursing Program. Stephanie
Lewis of Danville, was also recognized as the 1,000th graduate of
the Danville Community College Practical Nursing Program.
