DANVILLE, Va., September 20,
2002 – “Getting Inside The Head of Sam Parker,” an entertaining,
yet informative program that will increase awareness of deaf education.,
will be held Saturday, September 28, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., in
Danville Community College Oliver Hall (in the Temple Building).
Sam Parker, described as the teacher
who entertains and the entertainer who teaches, is a child of deaf
adults (CODA), and an interpreter. His one-man show includes true
stories from his life, family, and his work. The public is invited to
attend the performance, which is suitable to all ages.
