DANVILLE, VA, February 20, 2003 --
Danville
Community College
recently hosted
the District III Vocational
and Industrial Clubs of America (VICA) District Skill Olympics -
Precision Machining Technology competition. High school and DCC students
competed in separate divisions. The winners in the college division,
shown above left to right, are:
Kevin Poole of
South Boston, first place; Jeff
Bomar of Halifax, second place; and Chris Hite of South Boston,
third place. The winners
will travel to the state competition in Virginia Beach in March. For more
