DCC STUDENTS RECOGNIZED

AT 6th ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY

DANVILLE, VA, May 12, 2003 - Eighty Danville Community College students were recognized recently at the Sixth Annual Awards Recognition and Reception. The students were recognized for their leadership and community service, skills, and their work with clubs and other campus organizations. Mr. Darrell Finney, Plant Manager, Goodyear-Danville, was the guest speaker. Awards were presented by Dr. Carlyle Ramsey, DCC President; Dr. Betty Jo Foster, Vice President of Academic and Student Services; and Wayne Martin, Assistant Professor, Business Management.

Scholarship awards were presented to the following students who will transfer this fall to four-year universities. They are:
