SETS SPRING OPEN HOUSE ON APRIL 9th
DANVILLE,
Va., April 4, 2003
- - Danville Community College will hold its annual Spring
Open House on Wednesday, April 9, 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. A
variety of activities are on tap for prospective students, including a
Health Fair, conducted by practical nursing program students in the
Temple Building; workshops on digital information trends in the Hill
Building; an open lab for the Networking program in the Taylor Building;
and financial aid and career counseling. In addition, prospective
students can visit classes in session in a variety of subject area; take
a campus or Estelle Womack Museum of Natural History tour; or view club
displays.
DCC
is one of 23 colleges in the Virginia Community College System, and
enrolls more than 6,000 students annually. The service area includes the
City of Danville, Pittsylvania County, and Halifax County.
The College awards associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates
in more than 30 programs of study.
