DANVILLE, VA, February 21, 2003--Danville Community College
recently hosted the District III Vocational and Industrial Clubs of
America (VICA) District
Skill Olympics - Precision Machining Technology competition.
Students from area high schools competed. The high school winners
pictured in the front row, left to right, are: Wayne Tyree of E.C. Glass High School, first place; Qi
Ling of E.C. Glass High School, second place; and Anthony
Rouse of Halifax County High
School, third place. Also
pictured in the back row, are their instructors, Jeff Schleicher
