Danville Community College recently hosted the 2008 SkillsUSA District III Competition. In the Precision Machining Technology collegiate event, the winners from DCC are: (left to right) Billy Richardson of Dry Fork, second place;  Michele Edmonds of Danville, first place; and Justin Crews of South Boston, third place. Edmunds will now compete in the SkillsUSA – Virginia Competition to be held April 25-26 in Hampton. The program instructors are Doug Poole and Troy Simpson, both Associate Professors of Precision Machining Technology.
