DANVILLE, VA, November 12, 2007 – Forty-five Danville Community College students were recently inducted into the DCC chapter

 (Upsilon Phi) of Phi Theta Kappa, the International honor society for two-year college students.  In addition, Pete Castiglione, Director of Student Development and Enrollment Management, and Brenda Duffie, Administrative and Office Specialist III in the Student Development Office, were inducted as honorary members.  The program also featured remarks by DCC President, Dr. Carlyle Ramsey, and the chapter advisors, Dee Drinkard, Assistant Professor of Psychology; Sherry F. Gott, Assistant Professor of English; and Vickie H. Taylor, Assistant Professor of Sociology.
