Danville Community College’s proposed new Student Center moved one step closer to

becoming a reality as the Kiwanis Club of Danville Foundation and Danville Lions

Foundation each presented $100,000 checks to the DCC Educational Foundation.

This is part of a $350,000 pledge by both organizations. The members from the Kiwanis

Club, Lions Club, DCC Educational Foundation Board and the DCC Board, as well as

faculty, staff and students gathered recently at the building site. Pictured, left to right,
