DANVILLE, VA, July 14, 2006 -- Two Danville Community College recent graduates were recognized for their academic achievement with the Silver Key Award by the American Criminal Justice Association-Lambda Alpha Epsilon. The students honored were Elaine Broadnax of Danville, left, who received an Associate in Applied Science degree in Administration of Justice – Corrections Specialization, and Daniel Hudnall of Rustburg, right, who received an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Administration of Justice- Law Enforcement Specialization. The award recognizes two-year college students who maintain a 3.5 grade point average or better during their program of study. Broadnax is now employed by Fi-Serve Lending Solutions of New Britain, CT, while Hudnall will transfer to the College of Justice and Safety at Eastern Kentucky University and seek a baccalaureate degree in criminal justice.
