DCC FACULTY & STAFF HONORED

FOR SERVICE TO COMMONWEALTH

            DANVILLE, VA, May 19, 2006—Fourteen Danville Community College faculty, staff

 and administrators were honored recently for their service to the Commonwealth. The awards ranged from five years to 35 years of service and the program marked the 26th year that the DCC Board has recognized individuals for their service. Awards were presented by DCC President Dr. Carlyle Ramsey.

            Nancy Cassada, Administrator and Office Specialist III , Engineering Technologies; Pete Castiglione, Director of Student Development and Enrollment Management; Russell Scruggs, Assistant Professor of History; and Nancy Taylor, Administrator and Office Specialist III, Office of the Vice President for Financial and Administrative Services, were all recognized for 35 years of service.

            Others recognized included: Mark Bryant, Brenda Duffie, Howard Graves and  Sheila Wright, all 25 years of service; Lisa Johnson-Knight, 20 years;  Tom Canupp and William Dey, both 10 years of service; and Steve Carrigan, Cathy Conner, and  Tandy Gaffney, all five years of service.
