DANVILLE, VA, December 18, 2006 - More than 70 cats and dogs at area animal shelters will have a “very Merry Christmas” thanks in part to a Danville Community College student organization. The members of the Better Earth and Animal Treatment Society (B.E.A.T.S), one of DCC’s newest clubs, organized a Christmas Food and Supply Drive to collect items most needed by the shelter animals.
