PTK HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTS 51 DCC STUDENTS

DANVILLE, VA, November 7, 2006 – A total of 51 Danville Community College students were recently

 inducted into the DCC chapter (Upsilon Phi) of Phi Theta Kappa, the International honor society for two-year college students.

In addition, Steven Libby and Michael Watson were inducted as Honorary Members of Upsilon Phi Chapter for their service to the organization. The program also featured remarks by Dr. Chris Ezell, Vice President for Academic and Student Services, and the chapter advisors, Dee Drinkard, Assistant Professor of Psychology; Sherry F. Gott, Assistant Professor of English; and Vickie H. Taylor, Assistant Professor of Sociology.
