Kimberly Buck comes to DCC from Patrick Henry Community College (VA), where she oversaw non-credit arts, enrichment and entrepreneurship programming with the Workforce, Economic & Community Development department. Prior to that, she worked in public relations for Martinsville City Schools for four years as well as a news reporter and photographer for the Martinsville Bulletin and Asheville Citizen-Times. She is board president of the Piedmont Arts Association in Martinsville and has been active on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Blue Ridge since 2010. Kim and her husband, Johnny, live in Martinsville. In her free time, she enjoys photography, live music, travel, and rescuing stray animals.

Bobby Allen Roach comes to DCC as former assistant editor of the Star-Tribune newspaper in Chatham. He was born, raised, and educated in Southern Virginia and is a 2007 graduate of Tunstall High School, a 2009 graduate of DCC, and a 2012 graduate of Averett University's communication studies and journalism program. Bobby went on to earn a master of business administration degree from Averett in 2016. Bobby is excited to bring his experience as a transfer student, along with his expertise in photography and writing, to the DCC team. Bobby has served on numerous boards and civic groups in Danville and Pittsylvania County. He is an advocate for Arc of Southside and supports their mission to protect the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Bobby is also looking forward to getting more involved in the community through other civic groups and organizations.
