DCC DONATES MODULAR BUILDING TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

 

DCC Modular Home Donated

DANVILLE, VA, August 4, 2015 - Danville Community College’s Building Trades Technology Program recently donated a 10-by-12-foot modular storage building to the Danville-Pittsylvania County Habitat for Humanity. Shown, from left to right, are: David Thompson, Habitat Site Supervisor; John Ransom, DCC employee and architect; Robert Huffman, Professor of Drafting and Design; Julie Thompson, Habitat Construction Coordinator, Del Pool, Instructor of Building Trades; and Jimmie Tickle, Dean of Business and Engineering Technologies. Building Trades Technology students constructed the modular building, which has an approximate retail value of $2,350.
