DANVILLE, VA, November 4, 2014 – Texas entrepreneur and bestselling author Jerome Love, known as “The G.UG.O.G.S. Guy!? (Get Up, Get Out, & Get Something), will bring the motivational message of his personal success to Danville Community College in two separate sessions. Love will speak in Oliver Hall (Temple Building) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12 and 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13. Both sessions are free and open to the public.

Love is perhaps most well-known for his bestselling book “Get Up, Get Out, & Get Something: How ContrapreneurshipTM Can Help You Build A Booming Business,? in which he candidly recounts his journey from financial hardship to prosperity. The entrepreneur who was once more than $100,000 in debt managed to build a million-dollar enterprise before the age of 30. Love is the broker of LHS Realty Group, a leading real estate firm headquartered in Houston. He is also the founder of the Texas Black Expo, Inc. which produces the largest African-American tradeshow in Texas. A highly acclaimed speaker, Love has shared the stage at conferences with global icons such as Jeff Hoffman, founder of, and Michael Delazzer, founder of Redbox.

The two sessions are being funded by The Barkhouser Free Enterprise Center and the DCC Educational Foundation. Copies of Love’s books will be given away as door prizes and will also be available for purchase.
