DANVILLE, VA, October 24, 2013 – Danville Community College is planning a Study Abroad trip to Scotland next summer, from July 14 – 22, 2014. The trip will be led by DCC History Professor Dr. Mark Wallace, who recently completed a three-month Visiting Research Fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH), located in Edinburgh, Scotland. Included will be visits to Edinburgh, St Andrews, Loch Ness, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Skye and an excursion to Culloden Battlefield. The fare (which is based upon the number of participants) includes:

• Roundtrip flights from Raleigh, NC to Newark, NJ; and Newark to Edinburgh
• Airline taxes and fuel surcharges
• 7 nights’ accommodation
• Roundtrip airport transfers with private coach and assistant
• Breakfast at hotels
• Sightseeing in modern, air-conditioned motor coach
• Sightseeing guide
• Admission fee to Edinburgh Castle
