DANVILLE, VA, July 29, 2013 – - John Wilt, Associate Professor of Administration of Justice at Danville Community College, has been recertified as a Certified Protection Professional (C.P.P) with the American Society for Industrial Security (A.S.I.S.) International. Wilt was first certified with A.S.I.S. in 1985. C.P.P.’s are qualified to testify as experts in security and loss prevention matters. Wilt also holds a lifetime designation as a Certified Security Trainer (C.S.T.) from the Academy of Security Educators and Trainers (A.S.E.T.), Inc. His C.S.T. designation was received in 1998 at the Executive Protection Institute in Berryville, VA. One of DCC’s four Administration of Justice program specializations is a Protective Services (Private Security) certificate which includes online classes in security management and loss prevention.
