DANVILLE, VA, December 13, 2013 – The Danville Community College Justice Club had a busy semester. They attended the American Criminal Justice Association-Lambda Alpha Epsilon (ACJA-LAE) Region IV Conference at Delaware Technical Community College in Newark, DE, .and inducted new members. Members winning awards at the conference included:

• Amanda Eaton – third place, Firearms (professional category) and second place Physical Agility (26-35 age category)
• Alex Jackson – second place, Physical Agility (36+ age category)
• Scott Wilborn – first place, Firearms – Individual; second place, Crime Scene Team (professional category); and third place, Firearms Team (professional category)
• John Wilt, Associate Professor of the Administration of Justice program and club advisor – first place, ACJA-LAE Knowledge (professional category); third place, Firearms – Individual; third place, Firearms Team, (professional category); second place, Crime Scene-Team (professional category); and first place, Physical Agility (36+ age category)
• Jeremy Fowler - third place, Physical Agility (36+ age category)
