Graduates of DCC's Manufacturing Technician Program

DANVILLE, VA, January 13, 2012 – Another group of students in Danville Community College’s Manufacturing Technician Career Studies Certificate Program recently completed the curriculum and are now on their way to new employment opportunities. The 12-week training program prepares students for employment in various manufacturing jobs requiring advanced technical and operator skills as well as knowledge of advanced manufacturing practices.

The training program (28 credits) is offered in cooperation with area companies and organizations that are seeking highly skilled workers. Participants develop a strong knowledge of the skills required in manufacturing within a concise and flexible schedule. Don’t miss out on this opportunity. The next class begins soon. All classes are held at the Regional Center for Advanced Technology and Training (RCATT). Funding may be available to assist with tuition.
