DCC HAS FIRST CLASS OF RN GRADUATES

DANVILLE, VA, June 7, 2011 - Danville Community College nursing students were awarded their nursing pins in a ceremony held recently. Dr. David Balfour, Professor of Biology and Interim Dean, Arts and Sciences Division, was the keynote speaker. Other remarks were given by Dr. Chris Ezell, Vice President, Academic and Student Services.

In addition, special recognition awards were presented as follows: Emilee Williams received the Best All-Around Student Nurse Award, while Holly Vicks received the Academic Excellence Award.

The graduates are now eligible to take for licensing exam to become a registered nurse. They are as follows:
