DANVILLE, VA, August 6, 2009 – Medical Laboratory Technology is the newest allied health offering planned for Danville Community College’s health sciences building, Foundation Hall, according to Dr. Wade Davenport, Dean of the Arts and Sciences Division. Classes for the program will start this fall semester, beginning the week of August 24.

The Associate of Applied Science Degree program will train students to work as technicians in medical laboratories. It is being offered in partnership with J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College which will award the associate degree.
