1Students should take a non-speech, transferable humanities course.

 

2Students are expected to have completed MTH 3 and MTH 4 if indicated on placement tests for admission to the AAS in Dental Hygiene.  Students must also complete a college level MTH class for this certificate.  If students did not take high school chemistry they should substitute CHM 101 for BIO 101.

 

3 Required for First Year Studies Certificate, but not required for VWCC degree.

 

4Students should take an NAS 185 or BIO 205 course to meet VWCC program changes effective 2004-2005 academic year.

 

Students must also have completed Algebra I, Algebra II, and Chemistry before being considered a candidate for the Dental Hygiene Program.  Further the Chemistry course taken must have included a lab experience.
