Transfer Talk

Academic advising for Spring 2008 classes will be held from  November 7 - December 11, and January 3 - 11.  Faculty advisors have sign-up sheets located outside their office doors.  

Academic Advisors will have sign-up sheets posted on their office doors beginning Wednesday, November 7.

Please confirm the name of your assigned advisor by checking the advisor assignment sheets outside the Division Office.  If they are not posted, you may ask the Division Secretary.

• Make an advising appointment.  The faculty require students to sign-up for an appointment using a calendar sheet posted outside their office door.  Go to your advisor's office door and sign yourself up for any open advisement time.
   

• Your student folder should be picked up in the Division Office and brought to your advisement session.  (Sometimes the faculty member will pick these up in advance of your session).
   

• Study your degree requirements in the General Catalog
   

• Become familiar with the class schedule and, if possible, make a list of courses you wish to take. 
   

• Your advisor will assist you in the formation of your educational plan.
