I.              Catalog Description:   Further develops simultaneous voice-to-sign transliterating skills through extensive practice.  Continued emphasis on contact signing/Pidgin Signed English (PSE) and conceptually accurate sign choices.           


II.            Relationship of the Course to Curricula Objectives in which course is taught:
This is the eleventh required upper level course of the EIP curriculum.

III.           Required Background:
 
Intermediate signing skills or above

 

IV.          Course Content:  

A.  Simultaneous Voice-to-Sign Transliterating 

     1. Effective processing time

     2. Appropriate mouth movements

     3. Conceptually accurate sign choices

     4. Application of concepts/practice

A.   demonstrate the ability to sign a spoken segment simultaneously, using  conceptually accurate signs, appropriate mouth movements and an effective processing time, with 80% accuracy
