Description: Further develops consecutive
sign-to-voice transliterating skills through extensive practice. Continues to
develop and refine fluency, accuracy and speed. Additional enhancement of
appropriate English grammar skills and appropriate vocal intonation.
Prerequisite: EIP 211 or consent of instructor. These courses may not transfer
to any other VCCS institutions in ASL or INT programs. Lecture 1 hour per week.

This is the fifth required upper level course of the EIP curriculum followed by several required sequential courses.

A. demonstrate the ability to “voice” non-signed segments consecutively, using appropriate English grammar and vocal intonation, with 80% accuracy
B. demonstrate the ability to “voice” signed segments consecutively, using appropriate English grammar and vocal intonation, with 80% accuracy
