Option One:
Honors Project
Students enroll in a regular course and contract with their
instructor and Honors Program Director to work on an agreed upon Honors
Project.
Option Two: Stand Alone Honors Course
Students may enroll in Honors designated courses (listed as Section
60 in the schedule of classes). There is no "project" to complete
as in the option above; however, these Honors designated courses require
students to complete longer assignments, readings, essays, exams, and
provide presentations that go above and beyond those completed in a
non-Honors class.
Option Three: Inclusive Honors Symposium
Students are required to enroll in two Honors courses with a related
theme and a one credit hour seminar. This Inclusive Honors
Symposium requires students to complete longer assignments, readings,
essays, exams, and provide presentations that go above and beyond a
regularly scheduled class.
Option Four: Integrated Honors Course
Instructors teach a hybrid class that has been set up to incorporate
Honors students, assigning them extra course work that could include
extra reading assignments, essays, research, presentations, etc.
