Award: CAREER STUDIES CERTIFICATE

Occupational Objectives: The Medical Coding Career Studies Certificate is designed for persons who wish to pursue a career in medical coding.

Upon completion of this certificate program, students will be able to pursue employment in hospitals, doctors’ offices, nursing facilities, and

other health career facilities. Classes will be offered in the evening to accommodate students who are employed during the day. Students must earn a

grade of “C” or better in all HIM classes in order to complete the program.
