Drafting & Design

This curriculum is designed to train persons for employment in the many occupations available  in the field of Drafting and Design. Graduates of this program have the option of going immediately into industry or transferring to one of the  four-year colleges or universities  offering baccalaureate degree programs in the Engineering Technologies.

Graduates of this program can pursue a number of occupational opportunities, such as:

Drafting Technician
Drafting Supervisor 
Fixture Design Technician
Machine Design Technician
Engineering Assistant 
Architectural Designer
Surveying Assistant

 If you wish to prepare yourself to enter this program, we recommend that you enroll in the following dual credit courses in high school:

1. Drafting, Architecture or Engineering Drawing
2. English and History
3. Physics or Principles of Technology
4. Trigonometry or Calculus
