Students who major in science are individuals inspired to understand why some aspect of the natural world functions the way it does and who marvel at the complexity and simplicity of nature. The science degree at DCC prepares students for careers requiring a firm foundation in mathematics and basic science while ensuring that graduates have a firm understanding of humanities and social science disciplines as well. If your future career plans include medicine, nursing, architecture, laboratory research, science education, or environmental studies, then the science degree can be tailored to help you achieve your goals.
