General Education

Do you anticipate being in town for only one more year? Are you planning on going to your four year school after only two semesters at DCC? If so, the General Studies Certificate is the program which you can use to help make this transition. In conjunction with your academic advisor, you can plan a course of study that will enable you to transfer to the college of your choice.   The General Education Certificate requires that the student take transfer credit courses only, and you can select courses that match your four year school's curriculum. Or, you can stay another year at DCC and complete an associates degree and enter under a guaranteed admission agreement
