First-Year Studies

          

Have you been out of school for a number of years? Would you like to prepare for a program that expects you to have completed courses which you haven't taken yet? If you've answered "yes" to any of the above questions, then the First-Year Studies Certificate may be your program of choice. Many allied health programs expect students to enter their programs with a basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology and mathematics, as well as possess a firm grasp of oral and written communication skills. The First-Year Studies Certificate allows students to complete a years worth of college level courses that will prepare them for a variety of different programs or occupations. Below you will find worksheets on a number of these programs. If you have plans to prepare for an occupation not listed below, discuss with your faculty advisor how the First-Year Studies program can work for you.
