Make the Connection

The DCC Foundation's interactive Web Application, Alumni Connections, can be accessed at https://www.alumniconnections.com/olc/pub/DVL/. Double click this link.

With multiple dropdown menus on the web site as guides, alumni may search for individuals they knew when they attended the college who have registered their information by  searching using:

  • DCC club or organization names

  • athletics listings

  • colleges attended beyond DCC

  • types of degrees at DCC or from other colleges

  • specific trade areas studied

  • specific years of attendance.

Explanation of the application site and its usage:

Service to the more than 78,000 alumni, students who passed at least one credit class, is the purpose of DCC Alumni Connections, DCC’s web site for alumni from Danville Technical Institute, VPI-Danville and Danville Community College, individuals from classes beginning in 1936 and continuing to the present day students.

Alumni can post their own profiles through their MyPage area, update their profiles, post pictures, create address books, set up links to the latest job postings or latest resumes, set up links to the latest profiles posted in specified areas and request specific types of e-mails being sent from the college.

  • To protect privacy, alumni e-mail addresses will remain blind between alumni and the public.

  • Alumni addresses are not released to the public.

  • All information posted on the site by alumni is monitored by the college for acceptability.
